ARTISTS BACKGROUND

Charlie Rallings is the mural artist behind Brighton Think Big, specializing in designing and transforming wall spaces and interiors with vibrant artworks using a variety of paint techniques, based in Brighton UK.

She was drawn to painting large-scale after graduating from an Illustration Degree at Westminster University and relocating to Brighton where she found herself inspired by the cities openness to street art and the inspiring artwork in the lanes. It wasn't long before she had picked up the spray-cans herself!

In 2005 she worked closely with Brighton and Hove Council and other artists to create uplifting murals that would improve the local area, prone to tagging. This then lead her develop a mural portfolio brightening up restaurants, bars, homes and gardens for clients with a wide range of design ideas.

Whilst painting the murals for commercial clients she found that they often required other design service such as ;

Logo Design, Branding, Glass Vinyl Art, and Signage which are all available upon request.

Her proudest mural was painting the new build of Africa House Brighton in 2018 in which I designed a complete image wrap for the side of the building, made up of ethnic patterns and African animals which has been praised by visitors for improving the area.

Charlie enjoys every part of the creative projects that she undertakes from the exciting ideas stage, to drawing and scaling the design and throughout the challenge of painting the artwork to be as BIG and bold as possible.
