Africa House - Entrances
At the beginning of the project mural painting at Africa House Charlie framed the office doors with palm trees and tropical birds, including by request the African crane which is the bird used in the JBD logo.
It was an important reference for the client to include a Zanzibar door which is incorporated into the mural on the outside of the building as a historical piece of African culture copying the ornate wooden patterns.
Painted above the Africa House Cafe entrance was a decorative leaf pattern to match the alleyway mural which was eventually changed to a plain grey facade with a relief logo to give a more corporate appearance.
