Zizzi Restaurant Mural Stratford

Shakespeare Town

As the town is most famous for being Shakespeares birthplace I have created these murals in the restaurant which scatter drama masks along the wall featured in his most well-known plays with decorative butterflies nodding to the free flying butterfly farm just outside of Stratford town. On the main wall opposite the restaurant entrance I have painted an abstract wall art of Shakespeare in the thought process, with his mind bursting with ideas! Then on the staircase leading you up to the rooftop garden is another medevil inspired mural with a shakesperean actor from his famous work ‘The Merchant of Venice’ and a rather heath robinson style kinetic machine from Stratford-Upon-Avon’s unique MAD museum which you can see Shakespeare peddling away on top of, if you look closely you will see clues inside this machine of his most famous plays from Romeo and Juliet to King Lear.
